Yantai Universal Machine Tool Equipment Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise ，specializing in R & D, engaging in CNC machine tool functional components production and sales activities. Founded in May 2008 (its predecessor was established in 1949, Yantai Universal Machine Tool Accessories Works, later renamed Yantai Universal Machine Tool Accessories Group Co., LTD.), is one of the first manufacturing individual champion enterprises in Shandong Province. It has been jointly identified as "Yantai Craftsman Incubation Base" and "Demonstration Enterprise of Yantai Workers' Technical Innovation Competition " by Yantai Federation of Trade Unions and other departments, and awarded the title of "Shandong May 1st Labor Award" by Shandong Federation of Trade Unions in 2022. It has been recognized as "Specialized and sophisticated new SMEs" and "Gazelle enterprises" by Yantai City and Shandong Province continuously, and has become a national specialized and sophisticated new "little giant" enterprise in 2022, and has been awarded the top ten advanced member enterprises of independent innovation in the industry by China Machine Tool & Tool Builders’ Association for many times.
There are three factories with total assets of nearly 1 billion yuan possessed in our corporation. The new major plant put into operation in 2022 is located at No. 3 Futan Road, Fushan District. The company has the machinery manufacturing capacity of the whole industry chain, and can produce nearly 300,000 sets of functional parts of various CNC machine tools every year, which is supporting more than 200 machine tool factories in China and exported to more than 50 countries and regions. "Universal" trademark is a famous trademark of Shandong Province, registered in more than 40 countries and regions.
The company is the council chairman of the machine tool accessories branch of China Machine Tool & Tool Builders’ Association, the rotating chairman of Shandong Machine Tool General Machinery Industry Association and the chairman of the technical committee of the machine tool accessories branch of the national metal cutting machine tool standardization technical committee. There are nearly 500 employees, including 70 engineering and technical personnel , two titled model workers in Shandong Province, and also skilled workers in Yantai.1 industrial champion leader of Yantai City, 2 master craftsmen, 1 craftsman, 3 chief technicians, 14 technical experts. Chairman Zhang Wanmou was awarded the title of "Innovation Pioneer Entrepreneur" by Yantai Municipal Government.
